9th Dec to 7th Jan – winter break

winter break, doing other things. spent time planning planning the scene because I have no means to use toon boom outside of Uni. During the break we stayed in contact and continued to work separately, calling over discord and drawing together to make sure we could all draw Chip with some attempt at drawing in the same style.

8th to 12th Jan – the first week back

Spent the first week back literally just animating all week using toon boom. Had to first learn how to use ToonBoom which was a whole thing by its self. Specifically I was animating the 4-5 second memory scene. This included The transition between the scene that came before mine, where chip pauses before re-attaching her arm and the scene turns into the memory/flashback scene where Charlie (her former owner) re-attaches her arm using glue from a pervious break (1seccond) a scene of Charlie holding Chip from the side (1seccond) a clip of Charlie crying while holding chip (2secconds) and Charlie reattaching the arm with glue (1seccond.) This week I managed to finish the roughs for this scene while the other members of the team continued to work on their own scenes and the backgrounds.
